The digital transformation

Nike is known for its industry-leading branding, marketing and advertising strategy, which is considered best practice by many scholars and specialists.

From a simple and powerful logo

representing the iconic brand, into a long-lasting slogan that calls for action and attitude. At the same time, the company associates its image with elite athletes and a lifestyle that everyone strives for in one way or another.

Nike has placed digital transformation at the heart of its strategy as an important enabler of the so-called 'Consumer Direct Offense'. The plan is to improve the digital market to boost the direct online sales model and reduce certain parts of the wholesale model. In line with the “digital transformation”, the company announced its new CEO in October 2019. John Donahoe has served on Nike's board as a technical executive since 2014 and previously served as president and CEO of eBay for seven years.

The "digital transformation" is now also reflected in the renovated showrooms where not consumers, but Nike's largest business customers are received and shown around. Pro Systems is proud to be able to contribute ideas and realize various innovative solutions, including the iXfinity Immersive room that is located in the Nike house of innovation in Paris.
